Clowns, Clay, and Carnevals

These photographs and various projects are all about the beauty of simple pleasures. While my collection here centers on the idea of finding delight in my surroundings, I seek to highlight the intricate patterns produced from a simple piece of our surroundings. A plant or cloud can completely transform with slight manipulation into an entirely different yet equally aesthetically pleasing piece. Basically, it’s the little things that provide the most delight for me whether it is a small element or a patchwork of the sights around us. Whether in a place known for its breathtaking landscapes or in a spot passed every day on campus, I have continued to find basic elements of the environment that inspire and interest me.
